剧情简介：<br />
　　幽美的古城小镇，幼儿园教师小悠（高圆圆饰）带领小朋友们列队穿过马路。执勤交警杨乐（余文乐饰）一边指挥交通，一边目送着他们，心里为能够见到小悠而兴奋不已。正当美好的爱情开始萌动的时候，杨乐却意外地从朋友处得知，小悠是一个有听说障碍的聋哑人……<br />
　　大学生福田诚（铃木仁饰）是杨乐同父异母的弟弟，经副导演（王珏(王珏博客,王珏新闻,王珏音乐,王珏说吧)饰）介绍，成为日本演员水野裕子（三宅尚子饰）的翻译。两人的感情在异国小镇滋生、发展起来。随着电影关机的日子越来越近，裕子即将离开中国返回日本……<br />

幕后故事：<br />
　　电影版《男才女貌》的故事发生在云南，主角从电视剧的陆毅、林心如演变成余文乐和高圆圆。擅长爱情动作片的马楚成执起了导筒。两个大导演共事，会不会有摆不平的时候？唐季礼说：“片场当然是导演说了算！”他和马楚成的合作方式是一开始他想拍一部爱情电影，他觉得马楚成以前拍摄的“简单爱”很适合拍《男才女貌》这个故事，于是就把剧本架构给马楚成看，两人一拍即合。<br />
　　电影中除了高圆圆和余文乐一对恋人的感情线索，还有铃木仁和三宅尚子两位日本偶像派组成的一条感情线。他们的加盟为影片更增添了爱情偶像剧的质感。但是驾驭新人演员可并非易事。<br />
　　几年前，唐季礼监制的电视剧《男才女貌》打响了这个品牌，也由此将他和林心如之间亦假亦真的感情曝光在媒体面前。<br />
而日后，他还可能以监制身份介入年底开拍的韩国版《男才女貌》电视剧，以及再之后的国际版、古装版。是否因为林心如才让这个故事在他心目中有如此重要的地位？唐季礼正色答道：“我要用电影手法重新包装中国传统的婚恋观，使国产电视剧的口味风格亚洲化，像日剧、韩剧那样流行。这次拍电影，我也尽量不让它地区化，并且和电视剧的差异分别出来。所以演员也没有重复，给新人更多机会。”言语间也解释了为何没有起用林心如。<br />
　　唐季礼认为爱情是一个永恒的没有时代性的主题，做这样纯真的童话式爱情故事是为了感染现在的年轻人。他说：“在现在的生活中，爱有3种，一种是只付出不求回报的，这种爱多数是父母对儿女的；第二种是相互的，还有一种就是只接受不付出的。而我想表现的就是第一种，是很真诚也很难找的一种，而这种爱情肯定不是现在年轻人所认同的，现在的人都比较自我，我只是想感染他们，也不能总是说教吧”。<br />
